MEB Breaks Into Top 100 Environmental Firms in 2024 ENR Ranking

MEB is excited to announce that we ranked 93rd on the Top 200 Environmental Firms list published annually by Engineering News-Records (ENR).

This is a 23-spot jump from last year when MEB placed #115. Our environmental sector steadily expands as we strengthen our dedication to creating resilient environments. As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship, MEB uses our experience to tackle the significant challenges faced in the coastal area.

Projects like the Norfolk Naval Shipyard P-653 Dry Dock Flood Protection Improvements project, Norfolk Ohio Creek Watershed National Disaster Resilience Project, the Roanoke Digester Gas Conditioning and RNG Injection project, and our work on projects contributing to HRSD’s SWIFT Program further prove our dedication to achieving a cleaner and safer environment. By partnering with local agencies, industry experts, and resilient design leaders, MEB continues to deliver impactful projects that enhance environmental resilience and create lasting positive change in vulnerable coastal areas.

“MEB’s dedication to enhancing our local community through impactful projects, such as building and improving stormwater systems, wastewater treatment, and water treatment facilities, continues to drive the growth of our business. We are grateful for the strong partnerships with owners and engineers that enable us to create healthier, more sustainable communities where we live and work,” said Tim Griffin, DBIA, Vice President of Environmental/Civil.

Collectively, their commitment allows MEB to achieve both personal and professional growth while surpassing owner’s expectations. This year we broke into the top 100 with our recent ranking of #93 out of 200, the future is brighter than ever at MEB. A robust pipeline of environmental projects lies ahead, paving the way for sustained growth and community impact in the coming years.”
