Our team is looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to support the implementation of building information models (BIM), 3D computer-aided drafting (CAD) technologies, virtual designs, and drawings and coordinate the BIM workflows, model creation and data conversion, clash detection, and documentation for a variety of our construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The projects you will be involved with may include Wastewater and Water Treatment, Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, Pipeline and Airfield Fueling, Commerical and Industrial Construction and Renovation, Design-Build, Construction-Manager-At-Risk, and Design-Bid-Build. This role requires excellent communication skills as you coordinate with various project stakeholders. core areas of responsibility.

  • Efficient and effective utilization of technical project modeling tools, including Sketchup, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360 & Bluebeam Revue.
  • Create and manipulate Revit projects, templates, families, views, sheets, schedules, filters, and other Revit functions.
  • Create work sets, link models, align models, and other multi-discipline coordination tasks within Revit.
  • Create, run, and monitor clash detection within Navisworks and BIM 360.
  • Set up views for use by the project team, including electronic document filing and other facets of electronic drawings and/or models.
  • Model management, administration, and maintenance.
  • Manage subcontractor coordination models and direct coordination meetings
  • Prepare copies and sets of documents for transmittal to other parties as required.
  • Direct the distribution of drawings, models, and misc. information.
  • Compile dimensioned coordination drawings, spool drawings, and As-Built drawings.
  • Prepare material quantity takeoffs from Revit and Revu.

skills you possess.

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Building Construction.
  • Experience with Sketchup, Navisworks, Civil 3D & Revit Architectural & Revit MEP.
  • Experience with BIM 360 and Bluebeam Revu
  • Five years or more of experience coordinating and troubleshooting with a project team on Heavy Civil, Industrial, and Architectural Projects
  • Experience with Preconstruction pursuits
  • Experience providing efficient corrective pursuits between design groups
  • Proficient in organizing reports, screenshots, and data into manageable working docs for design and contractor teams
  • Proficient in AutoDesk administration, including coordination and management of multiple models.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate in a positive & helpful manner.
  • Ability to prepare enhanced views, mock-ups & elevations of SketchUp and Revit models.
  • Experience preparing screenshots and enhanced views for marketing and business development
  • Ability to lead and coordinate meetings
