Our team is looking for a NCCCO Certified Crane Operator to operate a new Grove 100T rough-terrain hydraulic crane in support of our various construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. To succeed, you must ensure that you are living by MEB’s core values on the project every day and that quality, health, and safety standards on site are your top priority.

core areas of responsibility.

  • Manipulate crane controls to regulate speed, direction of crane and hoist movement using foot pedals, levers, dials, and switches
  • Analyze load charts to confirm loads are within safe operating ranges for the crane and rigging
  • Ensures loads are properly rigged and safe for lifting or moving
  • Inspect crane for safety issues daily
  • Grease, oil and perform minor repairs as needed
  • Complete crane service log and all necessary paperwork
  • Perform other duties assigned by management
  • Follows all company and work site safety policies/procedures and commits to an “Incident and Injury Free” work environment

skills you possess.

  • 1-3 years of relevant operator experience.
  • Ability to perform hook work required and experience driving piles and sheeting is preferred.
  • Able to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (in excess of 50 lbs.)
  • The ability to comprehend and follow specific instructions.
  • Interpersonal competencies that include a drive for results, the need for closure, effective oral communication skills, organization, planning, trust, respect, being dependable and cooperation.
  • Good housekeeping standards and ability to observe safety procedures and report any potentially unsafe conditions to management.

  • NCCCO Certification
  • Must Pass DOT Physical
  • 18 years of Age
  • Able to Pass a Drug Test
  • Legally Eligible to Work in the US
  • If assigned to a government project, US citizenship and clear background check may be required.
