Our team is looking for a motivated Project Scheduler Trainee to support the development and maintenance of multiple large and complex cost-loaded schedules for private sector, municipal, state, and federal construction projects. You will work closely with the Project Scheduler supporting a variety of projects including Wastewater and Water Treatment | Army Corps of Engineers utilizing RMS | NAVFAC | Pipeline and Airfield Fueling | Commercial and Industrial Construction and Renovation | Design-Build, Construction-Manager-At-Risk, and Design-Bid-Build. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you’ll be assisting senior leadership in coordinating with various project stakeholders, including Project Superintendents, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foreman, and Field Personnel. core areas of responsibility.

  • Work with business development and estimating teams to produce schedules for proposals
  • Development of project schedules with project teams after job award
  • Determine administrative and construction sequences with the project team (project manager, superintendent, project engineer, and key subcontractors)
  • Enter activities to build schedules in P6 using the determined work sequences
  • Input activity logic, activity codes, and durations as determined by the project team
  • Input data for cost loaded schedules provided by the project team; develop spreadsheets to assist the project team with cost loading
  • Maintain schedules with the project teams during the construction phase
  • Enter progress, update data, and produce require schedule plots and reports
  • Add activities and logic for scope changes
  • Produce reports that demonstrate project status
  • Assist the project manager with production of cost reports for pay applications

skills you possess.

  • Three to five years’ experience in construction
  • One to three years’ experience developing and maintaining schedules for construction projects utilizing Primavera P6 scheduling software or comparable program
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel software
  • Detail and deadline oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, organizations skills, and communication skills.
