Our team is looking for a motivated senior project manager to support the pre-construction and construction efforts of projects by providing technical and managerial expertise and ensure the resolution of any problems or concerns throughout the life of a project. In this role, you would be responsible for the overall execution, direction, financials, schedule, critical success factors, client satisfaction, safety, and risk identification/mitigation of assigned projects. At the Senior level, the Sr. Project Manager is actively involved in assisting in the development and execution of processes, controls, and procedures necessary for successful projects which can be implemented corporately. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager works with other Project Managers as a

core areas of responsibility.

  • Provide clear communication, leadership and overall management of all team members associated with the project.
  • Manage the project in alignment with MEB’s corporate structure, strategy, processes, and controls.
  • Identify areas or procedures in the construction process that can improve MEB as a company and develop action plans for proposed improvements.
  • Provide support for Project Managers as a resource and oversee, supervise, and manage the development and overall training of the Project Engineers, Superintendents and other Field Staff.
  • Develop the project schedule in Primavera (P6) and create accurate schedule of values to ensure positive cash flow throughout the project.
  • Manage the project schedule, identifying critical activities and communicating to the project team important information such as float, constraints, material lead times, and areas that could potentially impact the overall timely completion of the project.
  • Develop and implement project-specific policies, procedures, and tools to streamline overall workflow and coordination.
  • Oversee management of MEB field employees, equipment (Owned and Rented) and subcontractors
  • Forecast critical work activities & manage manpower and work loading on projects
  • Oversee and assist in the identification of required materials and expedite procurement, approval, and delivery as necessary to efficiently comply with the project schedule.
  • Provide support to the estimating department, providing takeoffs and soliciting pricing for bids.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned Viewpoint modules including invoice approval, Owner
  • change order entry, subcontractor change order entry, and complete projections. Identify changes in contract scope and ensure formal notification is provided to the government in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain positive business relationships with clients, A/Es, subcontractors, suppliers, and MEB team members.
  • Manage the buyout, submittal approval process, field coordination, and installation of process equipment and piping systems for water/wastewater treatment and other industrial systems.
  • Manage MEB’s self-performed work including sheeting/shoring of excavations, pile driving, underground utilities, cast-in-place concrete, structural/miscellaneous steel, process equipment, and piping systems.

skills you possess.

  • Completion of 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of technical/military training and/or experience.
  • 10+ years of construction experience with water/wastewater treatment construction and/or heavy industrial construction
  • Detail and deadline oriented with strong computer, interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong desire to learn and advance in the construction field
  • Technical knowledge associated with water/wastewater treatment construction and/or heavy industrial construction including deep foundations, cast-in-place concrete, piping systems, process equipment, electrical, and controls.
