Project Announcement // Chesterfield Proctors Creek WWTP Flow Equalization, Screening & Grit Removal Improvements

We are proud to announce MEB has been selected as the prime contractor for the Chesterfield Proctors Creek WWTP Flow Equalization, Screening, and Grit Removal Improvements Project!

MEB is no stranger to the Proctors Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, we have completed five projects at the plant starting back in 2007. This project’s scope includes the construction of a new Coarse Screen and Grit Removal Facility (CSGF), a 12-MG Equalization (EQ) storage facility, and an associated EQ pump station. It also encompasses two new electrical buildings to serve the CSGF and EQ facilities.

In addition, modifications will be made to both the Fine Screen influent and effluent structures, along with upgrades to the existing influent pump station. The scope also involves improvements to yard piping, electrical duct banks and structures, as well as grading, paving, and drainage enhancements.

Finally, the project calls for the demolition of two existing aerated grit facilities, junction boxes, bar screen structure, and yard piping, in addition to extensive utility relocations.

We are excited to take on this improvements project for the County. A big thank you to our preconstruction, estimating, and project teams for getting this across the finish line!
