We are happy to announce the recent promotion of Drew Holt to Project Superintendent! Drew has worked at MEB for over 22 years and has substantially grown his career in that time through his hard work and dedication to MEB and our projects. Starting at MEB as a laborer on a utility crew, to now being a leader on one of MEB’s largest projects, the P678 Dry Dock 8 Saltwater System Project, is an impressive accomplishment.
Vice President of Environmental/Civil, Tim Griffin, said a few words about Drew and his recent promotion. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Drew for close to 20 years as he has grown from leading a utility crew to planning and executing all facets of some of MEB’s most difficult projects as a Project Superintendent. Drew’s technical knowledge, experience, and leadership skills make him the go-to guy for the tradesmen, management staff, and owner’s representatives on his projects. It’s easy to respect Drew and appreciate what he does every day to solve problems, guide/teach our field staff, and put our clients first. I truly value what he does every day to make MEB successful, and I look forward to another 20-30 years of working with Drew.”
Drew stated that at the end of the workday, he takes pride in being able to see the progress of a project and watching it grow from the ground up. When asked about why he enjoys working at MEB, Drew said, “As a project superintendent, I enjoy working with everyone at MEB. There is a family-like atmosphere that motivates all employees to perform their best work, where we all rely on each other to get the job done.”
Congratulations again to Drew on this well-deserved promotion. MEB is thankful to have you, and we look forward to your continued success!
