Congratulations to Gary Worley on his recent promotion to Senior Project Manager! Since joining MEB in 2020, Gary has been a valuable asset to our company, providing unsurpassed value to our clients and leading his project teams to success. Gary is currently working at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Dry Dock 8 Saltwater System Project with multiple subcontractors and over 45 MEB personnel.

Gary is one of the most engaged, hardworking, and energetic leaders at MEB. He “attacks” everything he does head-on, challenges his teammates to overachieve, and produces results while representing MEB’s core values to their fullest.

Gary has been on several projects at Norfolk Naval Shipyard while at MEB. This includes a floodwall job and several valve/pump replacement projects. Gary noted that the floodwall project stands out to him because the MEB team and client came together and managed to finish substantially ahead of schedule, despite the challenges of working in an active facility.

We asked Gary what makes him proud at the end of a work day. “Planning work as efficiently as possible, watching it executed according to that plan, and knowing that only negligible improvements could be made, to me, the most enjoyable part of what I do.”
