MEB has the added capability and advantage of self-performing many of the complex, high-risk construction components associated with pump stations and pipeline projects utilizing our in-house experienced construction forces. Much of this work is also completed with our own equipment, providing added value and benefit to our clients. Though the needs of each project are unique, MEB looks for opportunities to utilize our staff of more skilled laborers and tradespeople specialized in local water/wastewater.

As part of the Sustainable Water Initiative for Tomorrow (SWIFT) program, HRSD will soon pump wastewater from Newport News to its Nansemond Treatment Plant in Suffolk. To achieve these efforts, the existing Boat Harbor Treatment Plant will be closed and replaced with the Boat Harbor Pump Station.
This project is for the Roanoke Gas Company and is located on the Roanoke WWTP site, next to our Digester Project. This new facility will produce commercial quality renewable natural gas (RNG) from the bio gas that is produced at the Roanoke Regional Water Pollution Control Plant.
