We’re excited to announce that Jessie Jones has been promoted to Superintendent!
Jessie has been with MEB for almost two years now, consistently going above and beyond to ensure his work and crew on the P678 Dry Dock 8 project project stay on track, maintain safe operations, and meet schedule deadlines. His steady field leadership and attention to task planning have supported reliable progress on this complex, high-demand project.
Jessie noted some of his favorite parts of the work the team has done on this project, “Our team’s progress at Pump Station 6 stands out as my proudest work, and setting the superstructures this year was definitely the coolest part. Knowing the effort contributes to the Navy’s readiness gives the work real purpose.”
His hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, his supervisor, Drew Holt, Superintendent said, “Jessie has a boots-on-the-ground, get-it-done work ethic. His leadership—on any task, even beyond his core craft—has positioned him for the next level at MEB and continues to show in his day-to-day performance.”
