MEB is pleased to share that John Riggins has been promoted to Project Manager.
John began his career at MEB as an intern and has grown steadily through the roles of Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer. He has contributed to a wide range of projects – commercial renovations, new builds, and essential infrastructure. His ability to adapt and excel across disciplines has made him a valuable leader on any jobsite.
Whether it’s a complex treatment facility or a municipal building renovation, John is focused on building the right way and supporting the people around him. “He is a builder in the true sense of the word,” said Tim Griffin, Vice President – Environmental/Civil. “John takes pride in everything he does. His work ethic and attitude show his dedication to the job and to the people he works with.”
Reflecting on his time at MEB so far, John shared how meaningful it’s been to work on projects that serve the community, like the Virginia Beach Sports Center, the Virginia Beach Municipal Buildings Renovations, and the HRSD Tabb Pressure Reducing Station. “Each one has had a large impact on its community, and being part of that is what’s most rewarding,” he said.
Looking ahead, John is excited about MEB’s continued growth and the opportunities that come with it. “I’m looking forward to my new role and how I can do my part to support the company and our teams,” he said.
