This project consisted of a new biological odor control system, carbon polisher, modifications to the existing odor control scrubber and associated FRP and HDPE odor control piping.

Project Details

Approximately 34,000 SF of new aluminum covers were installed on two 140′ primary clarifiers, the grit removal facilities, and the existing headworks. The headworks was upgraded with the addition new grit removal facilities, including new grit cells, classifiers, pumps, dewatering units and a new building. The solids handling building was also upgraded to include a second centrifuge, new monorail hoist, additional conveyors, pumps, and chemical feed systems. Additional work items included 48″ steel EQ basin bypass piping, concrete bridge repairs, lead paint abatement and repair, and the addition of a new flow meter and vault.
