The Nutrients Compliance for Proctors Creek WWTP Project included converting the existing plant to an Integrated Fixed-film Activated Sludge (IFAS) system while maintaining operation of the existing plant. The scope of the plant included the replacement of plant influent flow meters, construction of a new primary clarifier, and the construction of a new primary clarifier waste pump station.
Project Details
The project also included the replacement of existing primary clarifiers effluent launders, modifications of a primary distribution box, conversion of the existing biological treatment process to an Integrated Fixed film Activated Sludge (IFAS) system, and the replacement of RAS and WAS pumps located in 3 pump stations. There were also replacements of the process air blower system and NPW pumps. Additionally there were improvements to associated electrical, instrumentation, and site.
