MEB, along with design-build partners CBNA and Clark Nexsen, recently joined the Pure Salmon Virginia (PSVA) project team at a global meeting in Abu Dhabi! Tim Ratay and Matt Donhauser represented MEB at this 4-day workshop, presenting an overview and progress update on the PSVA Project to Pure Salmon’s global team, key investors, operators, suppliers, and design teams from other Pure Salmon projects in France, Japan, and Brunei.

Back in Tazewell, Virginia, development of the 100-acre site is progressing with over 1 million cubic yards of earth moved thus far. The second phase of construction has begun consisting of a mass excavation and soil improvement process that includes low mobility grouting, wick drains with temporary fill surcharging, and structural fill. The next phase includes the early stages of building construction which will overlap with the mass excavation and soil improvement phase in 2022.
