Please join us in congratulating Shea Callaway on his promotion to Assistant Superintendent!
Shea joined the MEB team in 2021 as a foreman, bringing experience from his time at a concrete subcontractor. He jumped in and quickly expanded his skillset to include process piping and mechanical equipment installation. He has successfully lead crews and trains other employees to work efficiently.
Braden Johnson, Project Manager, said, “Shea is very humble and honest, letting those around him know when he needs help or when he thinks something needs to change for the work to be successful. He also has a great work ethic that is contagious among his crew.”
His experience at MEB has ranged from jobs like Roanoke Regional WPCP Digester Upgrade & Rehab Phase 1 to his most recent work at SCWWA Nutrient Reduction Improvements where he is working on all five phases.
Shea shared that what makes MEB a special place to work is its ability to maintain a small-company feel with its employees while continuing to grow into a large organization. He added, “I’m proud to be able to brag to my friends about how well MEB treats me.”
Braden added, “Shea is not only a strong employee who is very deserving of this promotion, but also a genuinely good person to be around. He cares about the people he works with and their success, as well as the success of the project.”
Please join us in congratulating Shea on his promotion and wishing him continued success!
