MEB’s Commitment to Giving Back // Employee Community Awards

MEB is proud to serve and support a variety of impactful organizations. As a company, we strive to leave positive and lasting impressions on the communities that we live and work in. At our 2023 company meeting, we took the time to recognize some of the MEB employees who were stand-out volunteers in the community. We look forward to continuing to volunteer, give back, and set new milestones in the future!

This year, we dedicated our time and efforts to building communities, protecting natural environments, providing educational opportunities, and supporting community needs, to name a few, and we had the pleasure of working with so many amazing organizations, schools, and individuals. Enjoy this video recapping some of the events that we participated in this past year.

Looking Ahead

Our community efforts are in full swing for 2023! In February, we donated to the American Heart Association and participated in a cycling class for heart health! Coming up, we are excited to be a sponsor of and participate in two walks – one supporting the National MS Society and one supporting the Williamsburg area Habitat for Humanity. We are also looking forward to an Oyster Restoration event with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Tour de Cure with the American Diabetes Association, and a CANstructure event with the Youth Volunteer Corps of Hampton Roads.

We are also proud to announce that as of 2023, MEB is offering every employee a day of Paid Time Off to volunteer at an organization of their choosing. MEB is committed to making lasting impacts in the communities we live and work.
