MEB was pleased to participate in the groundbreaking with Moffatt & Nichol and NAVFAC for the new Dry Dock Floodwall Protection Improvements Project at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard yesterday. In order to protect many critical facilities, infrastructure, and equipment from flooding from the Elizabeth River, MEB will be constructing the permanent cast-in-place concrete floodwall. This project is ensuring continuity of operations for the shipyard and MEB is honored to be able to resolve the flooding issues and to continue serving NAVFAC and the Navy.
