We’re excited to share that Hannah Snider has been promoted to Senior Project Engineer in recognition of her hard work and impact at MEB!
Hannah has spent just over three years at MEB contributing to work at our Nansemond jobsites, including the HRSD Nansemond Treatment Plant SWIFT Facility & On-site Recharge Wells and the Advanced Nutrient Reduction Improvements Phase 2 project. She describes Phase 2 as her most rewarding experience, as it is the first project she has supported from start to near completion. She is especially proud of completing equipment start-up to fully service a new building, noting, “It’s great to go through the start-up process and see everything newly installed working properly. It moves us closer to completion of the project.”

She has worked closely with her supervisor, Chase Spence, Project Executive, on both projects. He commented that Hannah’s drive and attention to detail have fueled her success at MEB, noting, “She consistently supports both field and office staff and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our project team has the tools to be successful.” He added that these qualities have prepared her to take on more responsibility in her new leadership role.
For Hannah, the team environment is what sets MEB apart. “It’s the people that make the job,” she said, pointing to the strong coordination between field and office staff and the willingness across teams to answer questions, support each other, and get the job done.
