Lunch & Learn Highlights from the TABB Pressure Reducing Station Project

Recently, a Lunch & Learn event was held for HRSD and Hazen team members, highlighting the unique engineering and construction behind the TABB PRS & Offline Storage Facility’s 2.5-million-gallon Prestressed Offline Storage Tank.

This event showcased the technical process involved in building the tank. MEB collaborated with PRECON, our Prestressed Offline Storage Tank partner, to share valuable insights on design and construction. Representatives from HRSD and Hazen attended the session.

James Gravesen from PRECON led the presentation, explaining the design and construction steps involved in building prestressed tanks like the one at TABB PRS. After lunch, the group toured the project site, where attendees were provided a closer look at the tank’s features. This hands-on experience allowed the group to ask specific questions and receive immediate answers, bringing the project’s complexity and scale to life.

Events like this reflect MEB’s commitment to transparency and collaboration with our clients, offering not only technical expertise but also a deeper understanding of the project’s unique components at every phase.
