Historic Photo from the DD3 Industry Engagement Brief
This project will provide modernization to Dry Dock 3 (DD3) that was originally constructed in 1911! The infrastructure needs to be reconstructed to support Los Angeles and Virginia Class Block I-V submarines. Construction is expected to be completed in early 2031.
This win comes as our team nears the final stages of the NNSY P-678 Dry Dock 8 Saltwater System for CVN-78 Aircraft Carriers. For months, MEB’s preconstruction, estimating, and marketing teams worked alongside our P-678 project team to prepare a best-value proposal.
