Project Details

The 4MG raw water pumping station, located in the Town of Columbia along the James River, consists of a cast-in-place concrete wet well, elevated building slab, multistage vertical turbine pumps, emergency backup generator, VFD motor controls, and instrumentation for remote monitoring of the station.  The advanced water membrane filtration Water Treatment Facility, located in Louisa County along Rt. 250, includes a 5MG pre-stressed concrete pre-settling basin, various chemical feed systems, a 6,400SF pre-engineered metal Operations and Treatment Building consisting of a laboratory, offices, and the membrane filtration equipment, two 200HP pumps for finished water located in a second pre-engineered metal building, and a 2MG pre-stressed concrete clearwell tank.
