Project Details
This project was for the Roanoke Gas Company at the Roanoke WWTP site in Roanoke VA. This new facility produces commercial quality renewable natural gas (RNG) from the biogas at the Roanoke Regional Water Pollution Control Plant. MEB installed the owner supplied new digester gas conditioning system, regulator/metering station, and kiosk on structural concrete foundations built by MEB. This project also consisted of installing stainless steel gas piping from the wastewater plant to the digester gas conditioning system and then approximately 400 ft of pressurized gas piping to tie the system into Roanoke Gas Company’s gas main. Other work MEB and our subcontractors performed for this project includes all associated site work, electrical, and control improvements. The project required close coordination between multiple parties including MEB, RK&K, Roanoke Gas Company, and the 3rd party equipment suppliers to ensure a successful startup and an operational system. MEB was able to complete this project on time and on budget.
