The digester upgrades completed during this project have rehabilitated aging structures, improved the performance and efficiency of the treatment process, and added gas treatment enhancements that will provide renewable and reliable production of commercial/gas line quality natural gas.

Project Details
Upgrades to the primary digesters including demolition and replacement of three concrete covers, four new tank coating systems, five new mixing systems, miscellaneous concrete repairs, new instrumentation, piping and valving modification and improvements to the digester control system. Minor thickening improvements include new sludge piping and valving in the dissolved air flotation building and new sludge yard piping to the adjacent blend tank.
