MEB Recognized at ABC’s 2023 Excellence in Constructions Awards

Two MEB project teams were recognized at the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Central Virginia and Hampton Roads 2023 Excellence in Construction Awards!

The Norfolk Ohio Creek National Disaster Resilience project won the Honor Award in the Mega Project category. Vice President – Environmental/Civil Tim Griffin, Project Managers Brandon Jones and Laney Ettel, Preconstruction Manager Tim Ratay, Superintendent Carl DeWald, Site Safety and Health Officer Brett Brant, and Field Administrative Assistant Tiffany Harris were there to accept the award!

Our team at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard was recognized for their work on the P-653 Dry Dock Flood Protection Improvements project. They took home the Merit Award in the Federal – $5Million+ category. Vice President – Environmental/Civil Tim Griffin, Senior Project Manager Gary Worley, Superintendents Drew Holt and Steve Woody, Assistant Superintendent Dominique Knight, Construction Quality Control Tony Thompson, and Project Engineer Matt Keene were there to accept the award!

Thank you to ABC for a wonderful night celebrating all the amazing projects. Congratulations to our MEB teams on their hard work making these projects such a success!
