MEB employees enjoyed a sunset Discovery Trip with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation!

We have a long-standing partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF). We are huge supporters of their mission for a clean and healthy Chesapeake Bay! MEB CEO, George Clarke, is on the CBF Board of Trustees, and we do various volunteer events with them every year like Oyster Bagging, Clean the Bay Day, Coastline Restoration – Sand Installation, and more!

Onboard the CBF Discovery Trip

The team had a great time on the Discovery Trip, learning more about CBF’s mission and daily work towards a healthy Chesapeake Bay and educating people of all ages. We explored the surrounding waterways on one of their boats, learning about the different animals, from birds to fish, that call the bay their home. We pulled up crab pots to learn about the differences in species and identifying genders, as well as seeing over ten types of aquatic animals.
